
Ryan Quinn is an Embedded Design Engineer at SmartIR, where he leads the development of embedded hardware and firmware systems for the company’s adaptive thermal management technologies. His work ensures the seamless integration of SmartIR’s graphene-based radiators with control electronics, enabling real-time performance and communication in harsh aerospace and defence environments.
Ryan brings over seven years of experience in embedded systems and electronic engineering, having worked across a range of sectors including industrial safety, power systems, and scientific instrumentation. Before joining SmartIR, he was part of the electronics team at EA Technology, contributing to the development of solutions for electrical infrastructure monitoring and diagnostics.
Prior to that, Ryan served as an Embedded Design Engineer at IDEM Safety Switches, where he focused on developing safety-critical embedded control systems. His earlier roles at Inter Scientific and Envin Scientific Ltd saw him working on custom electronics for laboratory, medical, and analytical devices, giving him a strong foundation in precision electronics and product development.
